Direct Torque Control

This lecture presents how can be controlled the torque developed by a tri-phased induction motor, directly by controlling the spatial position of the stator flux phasor.

This one, at its turn, is controlled, both as position and amplitude, by the proper choosing of the voltage source inverter topology (the ON/OFF states of the inverter switches).
